The Canberra/ACT regions now has its own Autism Advisor service.
Autism Asperger ACT appointed two advisors (1.3 FTE) who provide information for families of children under six years who have been diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (or a Pervasive Developmental Disorder).
Children who are eligible can be referred to providers of early intervention services that are funded by FaHCSIA and registered to receive such services.
