Autism Asperger ACT is creating an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Centre of Excellence for the ACT. Autism Asperger ACT provides services, support and therapies for both adults and children with an ASD. Initially we are looking to provide speech, behavioural and occupational therapies as well as education and behaviour support services.
ASD are lifelong so we also aim to provide employment services, other post-school options and supported or assisted accommodation.
Autism Asperger ACT runs seminars and meetings that provide advice, training, information and guidance for families and carers as well as professional development for teachers, carers and other professionals.
We have premises at the Weston Community Hub - WHEN THESE PREMISES HAVE BEEN RENOVATED WE WILL HAVE SOME DESIGNATED SPACE IN WHICH TO OFFER MORE SERVICES.
An Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Centre of Excellence for the ACT is a long-term project. Autism Asperger ACT needs substantial contributions from the community to achieve this goal.
